What happens with the kids?
Sunday: Families begin worship together in the Sanctuary. Near the start of the service, we have "Ministry Around the Rock," (see photo above) a special time when the kids are invited to gather in front of the church for Scripture reading
and a brief, age-appropriate lesson about it. After that, the kids are dismissed to attend Faith Builders, our children's
Sunday morning ministry program. If your child does not want to attend Faith Builders, s/he is certainly welcome to stay in worship with you for the remainder of the service
Faith Builders reveals the Bible to children through well-supervised, hands-on activities in classoom settings throughout the building, while adult worship continues in the Sanctuary. (See "Growing: Children" section of the website for details about Faith Builders.) .
Infant & Toddler care for children between the ages of 9 months-3 years is available every Sunday from 8:45am-12:00noon in our professionally-staffed Early Childhood Care Center. (See "Growing: Children" section of the website for details.)
Saturday: Children of any age are always welcome in worship! If however, you would like your child(ren) to attend Faith Builders, our ministry for and with children, they are welcome to do so. We gather right at 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary, join with for the opening of "thrive" worship and then depart for Fellowship Hall where we'll have kids worship and creative activities based on the Spark House curriculum over the course of about an hour.
As with Sunday mornings, infant & toddler care is offered on Saturday evening during "thrive."
