Weekly Ministry for families with children . . .

Early Childhood Care Center (aka Nursery)

Infants and toddlers between the ages of 9 months - 3 years are welcome each week in Advent's safe, clean, and loving Child Care Center. Our "CCC" staff includes a professional child care supervisor, Cindy H., who is joined by other professional staff and volunteer child care givers who work on a rotating basis and are always ready to make you and your child feel welcome. Early Childhood Care Center hours:

8:45 am - 12:00 pm Sundays (during worship)

4:45 pm - 6:15 pm Saturdays (during "thrive" worship)

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Wednesdays (during classes and small group gatherings)

Saturday Evening @ 5 pm: Preschoolers & K-5

3's, 4's, 5's gather in the Early Childhood Care Center during "thrive" worship. Elementary students through grade 5 join together in Fellowship Hall on Saturday evenings for their own short worship service followed by teaching time and creative activities using the Spark House curriculum.

Sunday Morning @ 9 & 10:45 am: Preschoolers

Families gather in the Sanctuary for opening part of worship. Following "Ministry Around the Rock" 3 & 4 year olds go to Fellowship Hall for a time of kid's worship and then to their classroom (Bethany Room). They remain in the same room each week, with the same teacher for five weeks, and learn from the Spark House curriculum.

Sunday Morning @ 9 & 10:45 am: Grades K-5

Students in grades K-5 spend 5-6 weeks exploring a single Bible story through a variety of hands-on experiences. This model for Faith Builders, knowns as "Rotation Model" is based on the multiple intelligences approach to learning. At the end of the unit we tie it all together with "Reflection Week."

ADVENTure Kids (18 months-PreK)

is Advent's mid-week Parent's Day Out program, now entering it's 5th year serving families in and around the Eagan community.

This once per week parents' day out program is offered on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. September through May. Children enjoy chapel time, music instructions, crafts, story time and gym and outdoor time.
